@Stockmaster u have just gone too defensive...forget this referundum BS...if i were you...i would have gone into UNGA or BBK...BBK reported a 9% drop in Q1 profits due to once off staff costs...come 1H they will have swung back into profitability...i think that would excite the markets and push the stock up...

Well, let @stocksmaster do his thing... You can do yours!

I cant argue with his success... I think 50%+ in 6 months!

In the Portfolio Balancing thread, I put forward my case for Though still rebalancing in the same asset class, I really really think I should sell off my many many KCB shares and buy SCBK.

Chaffed I'd be on the ride with @stocksmaster, perhaps for much longer though; but not got in yet as I await margin of safety. Thought I could wait and just buy the rights... Hmmn Octopus... smile

@ stocksmaster,

you can start naming your price.
Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.

At this rate, any share stocksmaster touches will always sway the Wazua crowd.................Some of us are already drooling at his gains so far and cursing our failure to follow his picks.

...if all of stocksmaster's picks turn out to be very profitable, then every stock he touches will have the midas touch effect...and he'll fool us all and laugh his way to the bank!!!!
The utimate goal of investing is to buy low sell high;if we re-write this core equation in psychology terms it becomes buy fear sell greed.

He played well with mumias, eroded mumias gains with safcom and the jury is still out on scb. Would we be singing high praises if it was a bear mkt?

sparkly, you make it sound as if it is easy picking the right stocks. It's not as if any stock on the nse is a sure moneymaker. Picking scb was a great move. sparkly, what do you mean by saying he eroded mumias gains with safcom? Or did he make a loss? And i wouldn't say we are in a 'proper' bull. I'm hoping that comes after a 'YES' win
