my friend, expert pilots have landed very huge boeing planes in rivers(hudson river just like our nairobi river) and highways without dumping passengers outside or hurting them. If the plane must land it will land. If it cannot reach the intended airport a distressed pilot should look for a nearer one rather than crash heading to destination, if the pilot is skilled enough, he will surely find a place to land to great passenger relief and joy and to the cheers and amazement of all those in aviation.

Who enjoys the flying experience more - the pilot or owner of the landing strip?
Discuss, supporting your points using diagrams & illustrations where unnecessary (20 marks)

Or use a wheat field, and pay for the rough stretch later.

or even hire another airstrip.

Laughing out loudly , reminds me of 'some' jamaas who would get free landings at home(jkia), pay some other commercial airport to land OR BORROW a landing at a friendly airport, woe unto you if the borrowed landing chose to reveal the size, curvature of your aircraft, the dents upon it and that the flight purser would uniquely & rudely yell 'aauuuiii brary uji baridii' as passengers are starting to disembark, you would find the madness that follows at jkia management unbelievable

Quiz: guess the pilots
case one:
ground marshaller: confirm passengers ready to disemberk?
Pilot: nyef nyef! Nyeeef nyef! Nyef, nyef, nyeeee...Passengers have disembarked!
Case two
marshaller: confirm passengers may disembark?
Pilot: 'mafi ya kuku!', 'Nyinyi passenger mnaenda wapi?' 'simuende huko' 'Bure kabisa!', bureeee!mafi ya kukuuuuuuuu...

experts do concur that regardless of size of the aeroplane, a successful landing is very possible. one that thrills all on board pilot included. Its all about skills and how you manouvre the plane, watu wa Banglore msife moyo, yote ya wazekana!Applause

@Intelli i do think the landing strip enjoys it more when the plane lands since the pilot is usually on motion hence causing more ripples on the strip.

@dossy But i think both the landing strip and the pilot should be on motion for the landing to be successful.
