A good novel idea but 3 months time frame is too short, 12 months is more ideal. Let us avoid a repeat of the past that is intelligent investors boxing themselves to a tight corner because of their predictions and disappearing from the scene unceremoniously. witty analysts like Jammo, Tuscar Baridi and many others are out of the scene for obvious reasons. Beyond TA and other fundamentals, there are several external factors that can impact negatively or positively on a stock (govt policies, political climate, profit warnings etc), therefore it more ideal to give a longer time horizon. Also NOBODY should be invited to participate, let interested members VOLUNTARILY offer themselves to "play". The wazua spirit as members is to educate and inform and learn from others within the limit of what we know in any chosen area irrespective of our differences in tribes, nationalities, etc. .

My picks
Mumias/2400 Unga/1300 Equity/1000 ARM/200 KCB/0
The least i could do was try. Unga unga unga unga and more unga... This company must have a huge number of retail investors holding it waiting for a surprise... I being one of them.. what surprises me is why it has been indifferent to the general bull of jan todate. Life is short. Live passionately.

If Unga has sound management and they know the erratic weather thats comin.its only prudent that they hav a large cash reserve to cusion them.thus give minimal dividends ......anyway i also weight for the announcement. Your future depends on your dreams so go to sleep !

@qw, am playing the behavioural finance card, meaning i observe market behaviour (sudden bull and bear runs et al) A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work

@young, 3 months is good coz: 1. participants are aready familiar with the market and are merely making 'new' investments 2. no one to monitor for a longer time A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work

young, maybe next year we can have the competition running yearly. Updates need to be only made once a quarter, so not a big problem. GOD BLESS YOUR LIFE

If violent [I hope not] we will be depressed for a while. Of course, @stocksmeister is doing the legwork voluntarily. We cant ask for more unless others pitch in. Greedy when others are fearful. I am not seing any one brave enough to pick ARM. KPLC has also been left out! Are you constrained to only penny stocks?

@pkoli, You may not have read the whole thread coz @ Atririri grabbed some KPLC while @ Aguytrying got some ARM. Time is money, so money is time. Money saved is time gained in reverse! Money stores your life’s energy. You expend your energy, get paid money, and store that money for a future purchase made in a currency.
