CAN YOU PURCHASE/SELL SHARES WITHOUT SPLITS?

There are times when I have purchased/sold shares and my orders have been executed in different lots.This ends up increasing the cost of purchase.What can be done to avoid this or its a market phenomena?

For brokers selling and buying in lots worth less than 100K,means more money for them.They will simply say the available shares to match your requests were as executed.

I wish the same too . . .

I also wish we traded options, commodities / futures, etc. But this is GOOD OLD KENYA

@statmeister its true we need derivatives in this market,if at all Kenya is to make financial markets a source of employment and income for that matter.its a long way and we'll get there,but first we need to put tight controls in our Capital markets.Is there anything touching on capital markets in Vision 2030?

not sure about the vision, but there has been talk of a commodities market, i think in El Dorado (eldoret)

There is a clear ambition of the CMA to introduce derivatives and the like... But first companies like JHL need to split their shares to improve liquidity which is essential for this
