We are still not interested.
Dangote just like the Ugandan government is more interested in ownership for strategic purposes than the returns!! Just like politicians doing their best to own media houses. It doesn't mean media suddenly becomes the best business or the rest of us should buy them.
They are not of the same utility to us as to the politicians!!!
In short you are calling dollar Billionire stupid with no direction?
Do you think he has no focus just throwing his dollars across Africa?
But if you are waiting for a white ass, then wait until you hear USA investor has bought 20% from Uganda govt holding for USA would want to take the diesel made here to California!!!
In the next year the stock may jump to shillings 25. God is Great!!!
You need to go get a refund for all your English lessons!! You can't understand even basic statements!!!
See the first highlighted part.
KPC IS STRATEGIC TO DANGOTE!! Because of his upcoming refinery. Sorts out a lot of his logistics nightmares. He has all the reasons in the world to buy in even if the returns will not be great. He might actually make sure they are not by his refinery being charged lower! The benefits accrue on the refinery side. Same game Uganda played.
Dangote and Uganda have every reason to own a chunck and control decisions at KPC. What are YOURS??
You think Dangote and Uganda will keep the charges at KPC low or high??? Uganda even got veto powers on charges!!
If a hotel that I own 100% is supplied by a supermarket that I own 25% but where I can control the prices, what do you think I will do to the prices at the supermarket???If you don't understand that last question, totally refrain from investing.
And also ask @VVS about some famous Asian business people in Kenya and how they used networks of companies selling shares in some and having them do business with their wholly owned business and money always flowing from the companies they sold shares to the ones they wholly own "legally"!!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
