Asking for those of us accused of being worriers. Looking at the violence and chaos in a what is merely a by-election in Ol Kalou, what does it portend for 2027 general elections where stakes will be a million times higher. Also taking into account the admission by 'leaders' that every 'leader' is working with goons? How will NSE look like heading to next year?

Any win with minimal violence will likely have little impact to the NSE. However an opposition win without violence will likely trigger a bull run

On this one @heri you are allowed to be a worrier lookin @ the characters we are dealing with, their track record(s)/ history, the stakes, the mood of Kenyans with respect to the characters we are dealing with and their probability of them doing what "is expected"/being "good boys and girls" etc.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

I am in rare agreement with you on However an opposition win without violence will likely trigger a bull run
Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy - to paraphrase Warren Buffett

The risk is very real when you have characters who would literally burn the country because of power. To them no cost is too high if the end result is power!

We need to be worried! Very worried!!

But we hope and pray for a peaceful electoral process.

All I'm watching is USDKes. It will be the bellwether for stormy waters at the exchange.

The USD KES is affected by far more factors than the political environment within Kenya
