Amazing you've become a champion/fun of Kengen.

The current price is an attractive entry point for both speculators and dividend income investors.

True. Only KCB has a better DIV yield at the NSE, out of 58 listed stocks! Plus more importantly the NAV discount is genuinely insane, with P/B ratio of 0.22

BOC also has a nice DY based on FY25 results.

True. Though tradable shares are scarce

Inverse KQ performance.

BOC has never made a loss since it was listed in the NSE in 1969!!! That's a 56 year profit streak! 5 presidents, coup attempt, mwakenya, nyayo house, multi-party push, saba saba, post election violence, COVID, Kenya Kwanza etc. etc. not a single year in 56 years have they made a loss!!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

KQ can't survive even good times.

I remember times fuel prices went so low that KQ's profitability was negatively affected for a while! Why? They had hedged the fuel prices at a very high price!

Then fuel prices rose and KQ profitability was negatively affected. Again! Why? They had not hedged!!!

It is a circus at KQ! Senior staff wanachinja ndege (stripping planes for parts), the planes are grounded then they sell back the same parts to the airline through corrupt channels. That is as low as it gets! How do you trust such senior managers with ANYTHING else!!?? You don't expect even your Grogon mechanic to behave like that when you take your car to them for repair!!!

Will they be able to repeat the dividend per share of 90 cents they paid in FY2024/2025.
IN HY2025/2026 profit plunged by 20%.
