I can see a rights issue coming

illegal connections & unmetered energy should be easy to deal with. In the villages Rural electrification quite a number of people got the electricity line connected without meters and use for 2 years+ free of charge!

KPLC need to get out of their offices and audit their power lines.

Very political company. Every politician must promise electricity and water to win votes thus so much political interference

KPLC is not serious on addressing the issue of illegal connections. In many ghettos illegal connections is a thriving business with the culprits well known. Residents pay like 300 for unlimited elec supply.

KENGEN

Action: BUY

Target Price: KES 21.50

Time Horizon: 12-18 Months

Entry Range: KES 9.00 – KES 9.30.

Position Sizing: Moderate to Large position sizing is appropriate due to the company's strategic importance, state backing, and consistent dividend yield, which provide a high margin of safety against operational failure.

Risk Management (Stop-Loss/Re-evaluation): A technical stop-loss should be positioned below the major support level at KES 7.50. A sustained price break below KES 7.50 would indicate that the fundamental stabilization thesis has failed, requiring a prompt re-evaluation of the position.
Do it today! Tomorrow is promise to no-one.
