Nairobi city county just dumped garbage at the entrance of their stima plaza head quarters. Will this have any material effect to the share price considering the 5B NCC is charging Kplc as wayleave fees.

The only effect I see is higher trade receivables from NCC and more provision for bills that may never get paid. The wayleave fees won't be recognized in their books of account unless a courtroom judgment forces them to do so. In short, I see it as a nothingburger. Sakaja realised he doesn't have backing of state house

*Needs verification. Apparently there is a judgement in favor of CCN but is being appealed. I do not have more details than that.

kenya power plans to connect 150000 households under phase 4 last mile programme. if i recall well last mile connections caused a big mess on the books of kenya power. Are we going to see another round of mess just when kenya power have recovered?

I believe it's phase 6.
Kenya Power is either being compensated (if a grant) or getting a cheap loan(if concessional lending) to connect customers who it would have otherwise have found un-economical to connect.
This particular program has no mention of the Kenyan Govt. which does not believe in paying it's dues on time.
Given above I think it's a positive.

The problem is abuse by politicians, the other day you saw president in mount kenya tour dishing numbers of those to be connected, as we near 2027 elections this will be norm irrespective of whether kenya power has money or not

Every time I glance at the share price, I feel the urge to go shoppingDrool Drool

Energy stocks were grossly undervalued, given the ever-growing demand for energy. Kenya power was added to the MSCI small cap index. It has more visibility now that the DXY is trending down. Locals are in FOMO mode because they were too focused on bank stocks.

Keep an eye on dxy, pigs get slaughtered
