A waste of money. Burbidge is unprofitable. If I&M had waited they could have picked it up for peanuts. Which deals has Burbidge done?
FTGH - I like it but it's a tough 2016
ADSS - d'oh! d'oh! d'oh!

Most of the big scale indian projects the financier is I&M bank.
Nothing spectacular here.
Next you will hear I&M acquiring Guardian Bank

Tribalism will kill us!

The people you are calling Indians are actually Kenyans!

What has their ethnicity got to do with anything?
I have in front of me the financial statement of I & M H, 2015. It is signed by one Daniel Ndonye - Chairman.

The group recently appointed Kihara Maina as CEO

Which Indians are you talking about?

Please check the shareholding.. City Trust remnants are heavily invested in I&M

COOP 70,000 ABP 15.20; KQ 414,100 ABP 7.92; MTN 23,800 ABP 6.45

City Trust only owned 7-8% of I&M Bank before the merger.

I&M Interim Dividend FY24 has checked in.
Now we wait for the final.

@Obiero, please share the price graph for HF vs I&M from 2016 to present. Also include dividends.

Simple.

Create a table. Populate it with prices (VWAP). Add dividends, as received from 2016 onwards. For HF, it's even simpler since there were ZERO dividends as far as I recall.

For I&M just add dividends [adjusted for bonuses] received from 1 Jan 2016 to 31 Dec 2024.

Then graph it. Not rocket science.

Though the good news is that HF has taken off from 4 to 8 since the Rights Applause Applause Applause
