Over to you BBK to also do interim
of 20ct during Q3 to follow the trend
of Stanbic, SCBK and KCB .

OR

At worst without interim then 90ct in Fy21

With EPS approaching 2 bob at FY 2021 - they may just restore the dividend in full. Or even increase it! I predict 1.2 and above

Based on extrapolation of HY, the FY EPS should be about Kes 2. Given minimal dividends over 2020 and 2021; I am not expecting anything less that Kes 1.2 dividend per share.

Minimum payout ratio that was announced during Q3 results is 50% payout ratio.
If EPS is Ksh.2 Minimum DPS is Ksh.1 and based on their capital reserve requirements.

So nothing stops them from paying more than Kes 1 if 50% is the MINIMUM

After seeing SCBK's results, I think BBK will announce approx 2/- EPS and DPS of 1.20 or so.

Absolutely. They may even surprise with a special dividend on top of the 1.2. Remember they paid absolutely nothing in 2021. And the rebranding expenses have come to an end.

Then KCB who have sneaked in Oigara another one year will also want to show mega results. To justify paying Oigara his final 200M plus bonus - final year in office. They will be pressured to restore full dividends if they are paying fat bonuses.
