equity should get its advert in order.....have you noticed that they have 'edited' the 'I am a member advert' ?.....they should emulate the safaricom classic adverts which captures a national outlook rather than naming afew areas of the country using afew languages .....lest other 'members' feel left out ....

How do the safcom & some foreign adverts appear more national than others if I may ask?

On the equity ad,we don’t expect mama mboga to speak English as it’d look outlandish

Again, other members are well presented by the university professor, school & marketing director, student etal who wouldn’t do the ad in their mother tongue

I still think the ad is so Kenyan & represent Kenya.

& am NOT a member…

When will our gullibe masses called kenyans realise that cheape is expensive? I try to avoid equity and safaricom. with equity,it's endless qeues and ATMs that never work when you are most desperate. Just look at the end of this month when guys got paid and all the ATM were empty!!!! Pain in the a##.!!!! with safaricom, well valentine, christmas etc it's just sheer congestion, you can't even make that special call! SMS get delivered after one week..hehehe...That's why they can't even lower their tariffs anymore coz no call will ever go thru if it became cheaper.........poor...poor...service which cannot be tolerated in civilized countries!!

A THREAD

My friend had a very successful retail business in Meru.

Equity bank recruited him as one of their agents.

In no time, he was best agent in Meru county & was invited for a seminar in Thika, to enhance the 'partnership'.

That's where trouble began.
