qw, the use of the term 'unlimited internet' is not a con. It is a marketing gimmick. They are everywhere in every industry. Though I hate them, it has come to be accepted as 'normal' by marketers e.g, airlines stating fares, but in reality it is exclusive of tax which you will have to pay, restaurants the same, etc.
But I do feel they should have informed us that the offer was for only 10mb. When I subscribed I browsed and at the end I was shocked to check my credit and found it to be -0.08(by the way, how do you end up with negative credit? It has happened to me severally)
But Safaricom speeds are way faster than its rivals and this offer is a killer blow to them.
GOD BLESS YOUR LIFE

It is a very good offer, if your phone does not have an Opera mini browser just download it and subscribe to the offer. Opera mini compresses data up to to 90% before downloading it so you can imagine how much internet you can access on this offer. And for your information browsing with Opera mini browser on your phone, smart or not, is almost like using a computer. I have been using it for the last 3yrs and have enjoyed it all along.

The offer is workin, but very few people can even finish 2mb usin opera on phone. I use opera on phone n rarely burn 2mb 4 about 3 hrs! This means at the end of da day they are chargin abt 4bob per mb. The only way to use all your data is by downloadin files. Hey anybody kno how to unsubscribe fro this offer?

@hustler. To unsubscribe : *544# then choose 5 .

The problem with safaricom is that it doesnt catter for the others. Theres too much to be done on the web w/ ur mobile otherthan facebookin.

UNMASKED....

@qw has "apparently" been having "difficulty" subscribing to the offer...

Ask him how to unsubscribe? He gives exact details... Yani karibu a quote the exact page of the manual.

If you are limiting your use of opera mini and the bundle to facebooking, whose problem is that? I use it to Wazua..

Man, just advise your bosses at Orange to come up with something better rather than sharing your bile with us.

>> @kenyanhustler, how long have you been subscribed? I ask this because after using 2mb the remaining mbs are not lost they accumulate. e.g. If you have been subscribed for two weeks it amounts to 140mbs minus 2mbs(14) = 112mbs. If you get a modem they are still waiting for you. To check your balance send the word BALANCE to 450. Long stay this offer!!

>> Exactly! and safaricom recognized the need to......catter for the others.......at an affordable rate.

And because your signature reads that you are rich, stick to your laptop and in the meanwhile try YU, they are now charging 10 bob per mb...then tell us how poor they made you.......... adios.
