@ guru . KCB is a great investment and that was confirmd on friday when over 100 million gov. rights were taken up IN ONE DAY !!!!! Lets wait for the half year results come tuesday . Then we'll know its target pricd which i predictd to b around ksh 30.00

@qw.... Keep dreaming.. KCB is a useless short term investment compared to other banks and can only reach a maximum of 24 which will be next year
Hopefully, @qw will participate in the competition being set up by @StocksMeister. He can put KCB as one of his picks!

I am wondering about KENRE..How cheap is it at the current price? What is the prospect for going forward...I like buying cheap...but I wouldnt want to buy from a company headed for Bankruptcy..What do others think?
As an investor I behave like a tick, patiently waiting on grass and larch onto the first cow that shows up. As an investor I dont behave like a tick...I jump off the the cow as soon as am fully engorged before it dies...

It means Africa Re has acquired a Kenya Re reject to head it. They should be careful.

BBI will solve it

I will refrain from commenting on KCB since I have not managed to convince anyone that they will make money. I will continue buying like I did with CFC.

On Kenya Re I do not believe that Mbogo did much. She should have laid down proper systems in the company and aggresively looked for opportunities to invest. To me it was just too much hot air. Future depends on whoever will anchor KRe to great heights.

Africa-Re is owned by AU countries so probably acts like a parastatal... I wonder if she got the job thru lobbying by GoK?

Which Re-Insurer does Jubilee have a stake in? That is the one to watch out for...

Agreed with your observations.

@VVS
Good CEOs are not easy to come by. Why would Mbogo want to hold on Kenya Re if she could join African Re?
