Elections are held to choose new leaders to occupy governing offices.
There are per constitution 2 very important offices that should not remain vacant which media is not telling us. The Presidency which constitute the President and Deputy President.

Uhuru as President is serving his final term and holds the office until a new President is sworn in and hold the Dominion

Deputy President is as well elected on the same note and retains the office until a new Deputy is sworn in.

The dates of swearing in are stipulated in the constitution
This means the two ceases to hold office after swearing in of new elected leaders

Therefore there will be no level of intimidation that will scare Ruto until the last minute a new Deputy is sworn in.

Ruto does not need to resign to run for new office as President per constitution as the office of Presidency is protected in case the First falls vacant before swearing in new President.

Uhuru is showing us how democracy works .
Ruto does not want to be labelled as a "project".
It's very interesting that Babu is yearning to be the project. In fact he is the project. We all know where projects end up to be.
Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...

Kenya is the project.

There are some people with interests to protect.
At the end, this boils down to who can protect the first family and their allies' interests and keep the country attractive enough for business.

As 2022 polls start taking shape Kenyans must fight lies they are getting from politicians

The Politicians are back like Locusts to devour the green that we have nurtured for 4 years without their presence.

Dear Kenyans elect a kitenge in the next government and for Presidency elect a person you can live with to do your business than aim for handouts.

Those handouts will see them last during their inauguration by getting some cookies and sodas at Kasarani.

Musalia, Gidi Moi, Wetabix, Kalonzo Melon, the four will loose Presidency and their own Parliament seats.

Raila will loose big for not taking a Kikuyu as well as for taking either of the above 4.

Ruto can play the Women card by opting to have the first DP as a woman, but who is this strong woman to help him? How will Women select this woman to run with Ruto?

But again the Woman must be a Mt Kenya or affiliated regions but again not directly from Rift Valley .

Raila may not be strong in areas that Ruto helped him like it is Ruto who can easily garner points from ASAR (Arid and Semi Arid Regions who are pastrolists

Raila may also loose for depending too much on outgoing personalities who have nothing to loose.

Uhuru is clever sharp and will not agree to be dragged into Jubilee PG meeting to cause chaos in his tenure.

He will not agree to trim or kick out Ruto not only from Govt which he cannot but also Jubilee which was formed by the two TNA and Republican party.

Uhuru will keep buying time until his term ends trying to bring the unlucky team together but without stabbing his own term to bleed.

Uhuru pushin Ruto but keeping him as a friend is just politics and in case Ruto wins 2022 it will be Uhuru who will disclose what we already know that he was playing games!!!

Ati 2022, Uhuru will be forced to stay in power well into 2024 because parliament will pass BBI bills. IEBC will be asked to hold the elections according to what parliament will demand or they wont give them money hence no election. The civic bodies funded by george soros bring down KES will run to courts but even if the judges nyamba like safari rally cars they can't force things there. If the elections are held and the loser goes to supreme court to petition the presidential election, the courts will be confused because there will be parallel katibas, bbi and a 2010. Until all this is resolved Uhuru will be in power.

d'oh! d'oh! d'oh! d'oh!
Just getting worried why Rao sentries are making him lose this election.
They never come up with new ideas but old retired ideals and /or copycat other people ideas
First the Bottom up Narrative being stolen from Ruto by Rao.

Second Ruto has told those opposing him through OKA to choose their candidate that encircling Uhuru to endorse then

Third their Verbatim repeating Ruto want to reject election wherein it was Ruto who asked them to accept the next election results two weeks ago.

I think as it happened last Rao will be driven to the rocks by Junet and his other adherents of ODM

Hope Makau mutua crystal ball is working to tell them that Ruto is smarter than them.

So if we don't elect babu.. we should expect bloodshed? This is such a crazy sentiment especially that it was said in the mountain city.
Now I know why babu will only see statehouse in viusasa. This was a contract signing ceremony with the streaming service.

Ruto is picking Waiguru
1. To appease Mt Kenya.
2. For optics around gender in his new government.

Rao should wait and see what strategic options are available at the last minute. Under all costs, he should ignore OKA and only bring them into his alliance with false promises.

Waiguru is damaged goods the reality is that ruto doesnt have a pedigree of running mates to choose from mt kenya apart from karua and muturi who are long shots

Ruto strength lies UDA its the party apart from nyanza that can win any sit anywhere in kenya na wakenya ni watu wa suit wakati wa voting

For Rao ignoring kalonzo would be extremely risky he needs the kamba vote then bite off kidogo kutoka mlimani hesabu ingine ni kucheza pata potea

I agree with you on waiguru but I beg to differ on the issue of kalooser. Ruto doesn't need him at all. He doesn't need any of those Oka brokers. He is going straight to the voters. 60% +1 first round

Nobody is clinching it on first round.

Pole sana. Mathematics has already been done.
Babu can't manage 30% of votes cast.
OkA brigade can't even do 10%
