How will this affect the share?

I think the CEO knows the DNA of the firm. No need for panic selling here

They have delayed in releasing their FY results.
Market perception is when results are delayed, they are bad

Crown's results for FY20 > FY19 despite the delay.
Same for Kenya Re after you discount the huge Fair Value Gain in FY19.

Though in general terms I agree with you.

Centum's results have not been delayed since it has until 30th June.

Might these guys be kind and generous enough to offer a special dividend in celebration of the old man's life? I mean, they do have the cash and the old man died waiting for the share to hit 100bob.

Hoping for such, just like the way Safaricom did for Bob Collymore

I am going to move this to a new thread since we are way beyond 2019-2020.

http://wazua.co.ke/forum...=907085&#post907085

The challenges are different with COVID19 and Centum has had to pivot.

Longhorn has accelerated the move into digital education.
Isuzu seems to have done well but the transport sector has been hit reducing sales of vehicles.
Sidian has had to restructure loans and NPLs have increased in line with the sector.

Real estate has slowed down.

So 2021-2016 might look quite different but Centum has opportunities to pick up some businesses at a lower price.

The drama with Cytonn may push some buyers to look elsewhere and Mzizi becomes attractive vs Alma, etc.
