I don't remember a time when ABSa/Barclays or whatever they want to call themselves, ever used the words " The Board of Directors do not recommend payment of dividend in 2020 " in their financial statement. Reduced dividend yes but not no dividend. Waombewe Pray Pray Pray Pray Pray Pray

What has CooP and KCB done different, since the economy is the same for all.


Coop is majorly the saccos bank,so the sacco business has given it a cushion.
KCB,government and civil servants business

ABSA deals with private individuals,corporates,SMEs.
The defaults/restructured loans as a percentage of its loan book is high.

Then add the rebranding and separation from Barclays costs they have incurred.

Question is, are they a good longer term buy as the share price drops?
