I have been watching with keen interest and abated breath during the on going worlcup in SA;whenever the Supersport match analysts and presenters come on stage there is always behind the big screes very huge logo of the word "Harambee, coming together"

It was pulled long time ago and it's not the only Kenyan related Swahili name/word.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Hakuna matata.....Yes.SA has a chain of lodges known as Hakuna Matata lodges.Amongst them is the popular HM homestay and HM Lodge.......Then there is nyama choma.

We should not complain. We created it, did nothing about it and now we are crying foul? Look at Makmende, who ever thought our superhero would die so soon?

Did you know South Africans also took the word 'Safari' for game tourism? Shindeni hapo tu.

What is the history of the word harambee? I think we took it from the coolie railroad workers, so really, who owns that?
