I wonder what they want to hide from CMA

THIS DOCUMENT IS IMPORTANT AND REQUIRES YOUR IMMEDIATE ATTENTION

"As we consider our funding options, we cannot ignore the fact that there has been noticeable growth in the private financing space This is more so for capital that is aligned to our kind of business and our present circumstances. It is therefore clear that at this juncture the listing status of the Company continues to limit our funding prospects in terms of investment from private investors who focus on unlisted entities due to the nature of their investment policies and models.

Against this backdrop therefore, the Board of TC is proposing delisting from the NSE as a strategic restructuring measure to allow the business access to additional sources of growth capital to capitalize on the great opportunities created in the last 3 years. "

I agree. One would expect the exchange to have 200 listed firms by now(year 2020).

The Ibuka list leaves a lot to be desired....it is mediocre. The only hope is that Devki/Guru is listing in medium term.

How is the state of the economy.
Which are this local companies that can raise the number to 200.

I think going forward NSE should position itself to be the African securities of choice for African companies seeking to list or do capital fundraising.
