There have been a few Bitcoin mentions on some threads.

But, in my humble opinion, I think it deserves a dedicated thread.

Is there a future for this 'currency' or is it just a mirage offering a glimmer of hope for those in financial murk?

Governments could lose control of individual state economies and people could live outside conventional financial and taxation systems, Cryptocurrency Exchanges. Banks could shut. In a capitalist society where everything has a fixed price, the cost of resistance could be high: Bitcoin's Young Turks seem set on a collision course with some powerful people who have a lot to lose.

"These people – states and established financial institutions – will move against Bitcoin because Bitcoin strikes at the root of current power structures,

Yeah, mate, it have. I think it will be one of cryptocurrencies but it will lose top-1 place in the future, as bitcoin has a lot of cons, so everyone cannot use it.

A scenario where Bitcoin falls below $6300 still exists. So beware.

BITCOIN is at a crossroads.

If it crosses back up above $10,000 then it will have much further UP to go with initial target being $13,000.

If, however, it falls below $8600 then it will likely fall lower still.

My preferred count is bullish whereby we are about to start a long strong extended wave 3.

$10,200 is the line in the sand. If Bitcoin closes the week below that figure, expect things to get uglier in a hurry. Until then, I maintain a bullish bias.

Bitcoin never fell below $10,200. Currently cruising at almost $12,000. Very nice ride.
