I do not understand this. Kindly elaborate why Kenyans chukia Nissans. I have met three so far who have warned me with stern jowl, wagging figure and ominous tones "not to buy Kanithani!"In the final analysis, it all boils down to sheer plain old hard work and dogged persistence. Nothing more, nothing less!!

I can tell you nissans are good but I would vouch for specific models: Patrol, NVR, and GTR, buy any other Nissan .. The rest of the nissans start with x-trail and cheaper options container too much experimental new tech which breaks all the time. Now when it comes to toyota and honda, I can vouch for each and every model

I have owned a nissan saloon in the past and it was a good car. The 2013 nissan sylphy is looking nice and is much cheaper than premio. It's a deal. Proverbs 13:11 Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Very helpful. Makes a lot of sense why there is a Toyota bias despite Nissan having very nice looking cars! The consolation is Nissan prices are lower thanks to this Toyota bias so one can get more features and a newer (Nissan) car for the same price all things being equal . Asante sqft that one looks really good! In the final analysis, it all boils down to sheer plain old hard work and dogged persistence. Nothing more, nothing less!!

You buy a premio at 1.6m and sell after 3yrs at 850k. Loss 750k You buy a sylphy at 1m and sell at 700k after 3yrs. Loss 300k. You loose less cash when you own a nissan so the "resale value" is actually higher. Proverbs 13:11 Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.

Many Kenyans prefer Toyota due to cheaper options for spare parts and maintenance. Nissan are good but need frequent service. work to prosper

It would be interesting to see how much you will have used to maintain the Sylphy to keep the 700k value compared to the premio punda amecheka

Amerika. Quote:For the third year in a row, Honda reigns supreme: Dependable, sturdy, and long-lived, the Honda Civic and Honda Accord remain the preferred car in seventeen out of fifty states. That said, the Nissan Altima has gained some traction in state-by-state rankings since last year and is the most popular car in fourteen states. Chevrolet, a subsidiary of General Motors, is also popular across the United States: the Chevrolet Malibu and the Chevrolet Impala are the most popular car in eight and four states, respectively.
Regional differences: There are quite a few regional differences when it comes to the most popular car by state. While the Nissan Altima is the most popular car in many states in the South and Southwest, Honda takes the lead in most of the coastal states. The Honda Accord dominates the rankings on the East Coast and the Honda Civic does the same in the West. Drivers in the Midwest tend to prefer Chevrolets—either Impalas or Malibus. Proverbs 13:11 Dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow.

Why do Kenyans despise all other Japanese cars & love Toyota? To veer off the main point a bit(sorry armophous), what about car features? Just noted that Mazdas have very good features. I think Hondas too.Like the budget ones will be having features which you can only get with top range Toyotas & Subarus. Seen someone own Mazda after Mazda

sqft wrote:The richest/most advanced countries don't drive toyotas. Toyota ni ya hustlers. Another Mugundaman argument when confronted with Facts: 1. That worldwide, for every one Nissan, Honda, Ford, or Volkswagen, there are 2 Toyotas. 2. Secondly, the primary new vehicle markets are advanced countries. 3. Thirdly Toyota is not only Corollas. Some models like Lexus and Z10 are trully luxury, not for hustlers. 4. Fourthly, even the so called advanced brands including Mercedes, Volkswagen Group, Honda, Peugeot have budget models. You may go round and round trying to prove that Toyota doesn't have the largest worldwide market share but facts say otherwise. Life is short. Live passionately.
