By monday, trust me the rights will be trading at 05 cents. What with the government offloading 209,440,000 such rights. I offloaded my 8 rights yesterday. Bought some today at .5 and tomorrow will buy more at 25 and if they hit .05 on Monday, I buy 10,000 of them. Chances are the rights will not get finished. So I will ask for extra more of about 10,000 shares. Woe onto me if the rights uptake is lower than projected and the deal is called off.

I still insist what the vendors should be asking for is a bank quarantee that you will pay for the request rights. If process is successful, the guarantee is realized. If it fail, the gurantee becomes invalid and I can access my cash that evening.

Mukiha, Vituz, etc, wat u tink?

@sure - Interesting... what if the Rights Issue has to be canceled coz less than 50% subscription?

I doubt it will happen coz many shareholders will go for the Rights (not the cheapest but not the worst deal either)... PLUS there is the HUGE pension fund run by KCB for its employees... and the GoK can always take up the Rights to support KCB then sell the shares later on...

At 17.75

What will happen if it hits 17 shillings?
What is the minimum rights that has to be taken for the rights issue to be concluded or aborted.

There is blood on the streets. But the blood is yet to be mine. If it becomes mine, the more reason I will have to buy more than 200,000 KCB shares at less than 17 bob. I've already spent 461.45 shillings on 1000 secondary rights at .45. Placed for 5,000 rights at .20. If this happens. Monday am going for....

But why not wait for the rights issue to conclude and buy when the trading starts @15/-?

BBI will solve it

I've already started mopping KCB secondary rights odd lots at 0.05. Contact your broker for possible orders.

@Vituz

If the deal goes through, and KCB touches 20 bob before the end of the yr, you and McReggae will get half a goat each, roasted at a joint of your choice.

What is worrying me is that ppl have started running from No vote strongholds. If it comes to a head, we are in trouble at the bourse.

@VVS if those retards want to kill each other over this then they should go on.... Kenya will go on without them...

About the KCB rights issue i think GOK just unloaded their rights today because 126 million rights have traded so far.....

I think the retard who priced KCB rights has been thrown out because the share price is falling to the level of the rights hence no discount provided and hence affecting the take up of the rights

Can we agree to suspend the use of the word 'retard' cauze it almost cost my seat in the Wazua Parliament. Wendz was not impressed an inch.

Let us call the KCB advisers quake advisers.

Looked at it differently the advisors (like the Nation reporters on KK mattter) can be called 'opportunity creators' for guys waiting for the share at 15/=. Long live the advisors!

At first I was pissed at Daily Nation's 'quacks' for unfairly dissing KK but then I sold off some other shares & piled into KK... The fruits will pay off soon...
