On the charts as of today KQ is very very very much oversold. RSI AT 30. It just needs the slightest information to shoot it up past ksh 52.00 . And that information is commin around 1 st of August ,when they release their pax numbers.

Kenya re should be sold because there is nothing to show that their half year results will be any good except maybe the rally in the NSE

They own 0.87% of KCB. Anyone with any info of whether they are selling or taking them up?

I think Kenya Re is undervalued and this is the time to sow. Imagine if Kenya Re got a Michael Joseph or a James Mwangi that counter will hit 30 in a week.

2012, what do you reckon will be the impact of the expiry of the compulsory cession fees

KQ will probably cash in on the sale of 15% (huge capital gain) of Precision Air... See East African... but don't believe all you read in the papers either!

@youcant... IMHO the impact will be big thats part of the reason why the share is trading where it is... but they have been trying to play it down claiming they have other revenue sources....

@youcant thats a clear reason for not investing in Kenya re... with all the banks that have rallied on the NSE they decide to be in KCB??????????

I doubt KQ will pay any sort of special dividend!

@qw.... Keep dreaming.. KCB is a useless short term investment compared to other banks and can only reach a maximum of 24 which will be next year
