Good thing NMG is taking steps to remedy the poor performance. In the service industry, you need the right tools and the right tools are people with skills relevant for the market.

@sparky,are you still at NMG?im stuck at abp of 79.But working towards averaging down before exit.

My ABP is Kshs 51.6. Bado niko ndani

Only average down if near-certain that a rebound could occur

First you need to experience their e-newspaper before buying even one share in this company. Just go try the lousy product, how substandard and backwards it is. It feels like those jua kali apps we used to get in the early days of smartphones. I am forced to use it as am not risking getting the physical paper.

Secondly they never respond to customer feedback. There was an article in last week's Nation about how lousy its own e-paper is. Its like NMG is deaf and blind. These guys have never responded to even one query since 2013!! They simply don't care.

Then remember that the newspaper industry is trying hard to become digital as no-one is buying papers anymore. And this was pre-corona. Am sure circulation has disappeared to an all time low now as the risk of handling a newspaper physically is super high.

based on these two facts, NMG is dead in the water. No matter how much you average down etc, this company is sinking. GoK advertising cannot be the only revenue source, newspapers need eyeballs first!

Save your money.

Nation needs to fire any employee talking of papers. There are a million ways to make money in media. They seem to be stuck in the past

A happy case for longterm investors. The company is still profitable with little debt and working at a turn-around plan.
