Was she abusive.

With Beijing facing another scare/wave, a myth has been busted - Covid19 is no respecter of weather.

I thought it's Trump who was abusive. Told her to go back to her country and fix its problems instead of always criticizing America.

The mystery about Covid-19 is that common wananchi have not witnessed its horrors thus far. I bet most wazuans have witnessed the agony/horrors of say malaria(fever, baridi-joto,nightmares,stiff neck, death), and other diseases as tb,HIV/AIDS etc atleast once in their lifetimes but very few know how the critically-ill covid19 patient looks like. I myself have not seen with my own eyes how a critically ill covid19 patient looks like but has seen a cholera patient and a malaria patient and a pneumonia patient, tb patient, snakebite patient etc . I think if wananchi knew the pain and suffering covid19 can do to a patient then i think 90% of population would adhere to government regulations.

If it is true that covid19 has killed hundreds of thousands in the "mighty" US of A, and others like "Great" Britain and China then i think our worst is not yet here.

Looking at the official numbers given by MOH/Kagwe, it is obvious the numbers are growing. Whether our infection numbers will hit hundreds of thousands like in USA remains to be seen. Most scary is whether Kenyans will start dying 1000 per day like in other jurisdictions as we have seen in news media.
I think you have a point…

Hapa kuna pointi tatu (I started writing in Swahili but gave up...)
1) lack of taste is only one of the symptoms of Covid. We know that 80% have mild and no symptoms. When you scroll down you will notice there others talking about Malaria/Typhoid/UTI and being tested for these things.

Very few seems to know what it is. They are not even testing for it. People are clueless

2) I checked the google searches report for the US this month on searches related to Anosomia symptoms - it appreared that 33k searches were made this month and they had over 500k new cases this month. Tanzania had 859 of them. ASSUMING (this is a big assumption) that the Tanzanians and Americans have the same searching tendencies when they run into symptoms - Tanzania will have recorded 13k new infections in the last 3 weeks. if Americans have twice as many people with the same symptoms googling compared to the Tanzanians - this number goes to 26K... if 5% of these people infected over the last 2 weeks will eventually croak - 1,300 will be the number. but it will not be reported... it will be all at home thinking that fulani wa fulani died of Malaria or Typhoid or who knows what

3) it's obvious that the lack of smell and taste is a symptom that is experienced everywhere. Prince Charles has not recovered his months after recovery. We keep on saying Covid was here in January, February, March.... that fulani-wa-fulani had a 'bad homa'... how many people have you heard lost their sense of smell and taste (more so for a long time)? if 3 million people have it already and our biology is the same as Tanzanians... why don't we hear people talking about these missing senses? MaKaka Blaza wanajiuliza sana masawali haya.
this proves that the thing you had was not COVID and you don't have 3 million people already having it.

Exactly in Kenya "homa" is "whatever disease makes you sneeze, cough, and have a running nose". When a Kenyan gets "fever and body pains" - hiyo ni "Malaria".

Herd Immunity proponents are going to have to rethink their strategy. Apparently antibodies may go away in 2-3 months for some people. Especially Asymptomatic ones.

Parading themselves in broad daylight is not an issue, what I find shocking is the confidence while talking on camera. They talk as if they are selling vegetables in the market.

These balloning numbers, how many of them are from the borders? Magufuli may have held a gun on Uhuru's head so that he doesn't announce the number of infections from Tanzania but surely the media should be able to highlight this right?
