Brief history: I first learned about and used BTC in 2016. However, I didn't bother trading it. I joined the crypto market in January 2018, just in time to capture the 85% capitulation of the entire market in the next year or so. Since January 2018, I have tried learning about crypto trading in a standoffish manner. I believe that this is the ideal time to start the big experiment.
Disclaimer: I am not a professional trader and there is a decent chance that this experiment will backfire badly. Therefore, I intend to risk money that I can afford to lose.
Funds: As usual, I will not disclose the real figures. However, for calculation purposes, I will use $1,000.
Strategy: Trend following/momentum.
Duration: 1st June 2020 - 31st Dec 2020
Objective: To double the $1,000.

Expectation: It will be a hell-raising journey. I expect drawdowns which may exceed 50% on some coins but an equally big upside as well.

Some good money to be made here. I did something similar last year. Buying into volatile coins and looking for gains of at least 10%. Would buy and sell within a week.

I plan to hold my bags for 2-60 days depending on how the market is. At some point I may face a 50% drawdown, but also be in a position for a 300% gain in case the opportunity presents itself. My plan is to make big gains and only take small managed losses unless there is a black swan event.

LEND is up 56% since I bought it 5 days ago. I think a parabolic bull market will return in 2021 similar to what happened in 2017.
