If KQ was a US airline then it would have been bailed out just like US airlines.US airlines are issuing new corporate bonds which the Fed is buying with newly created dollars. Can Opus Dei pull such a stunt in Kenya? Its dishonest way of bailing out a company by central bank money printing but thats how Western markets operate. In Europe it gets even weirder.Eurozone companies are able to issue zero coupon negative yielding bonds which means investors pay companies to lend to them as opposed to the reverse where companies pay investors interest on corporate bonds. You think I am blowing hot air but companies like Siemens are actually doing this and weird investors scooping such bonds where they are guaranteed to lose money if they hold the bonds to maturity Wow KQ and Kenyan corporates would love to issue zero coupon negative yielding bonds and get paid to borrow.Woud you be nuts to buy such bonds like in Europe? Do you recall a share restructuring at 4:1 ratio in 2017.. The fact is that unless an Open Offer also named Rights Issue happens, majority of retail traders will still be locked in at ABP KES 21, some as high as KES 40 and beyond. Ignorance is best left undisplayed the figure I quoted was May 11th 2020 of 35,800 x 1.39 would give you just about KSh 50,000 which is just under USD 470. that's even less than a return ticket to magufuli land on KQ! alas Obiero your emotional investment in this stock will bankrupt you many times over
