Some of the best experts in infectious diseases are Africans or foreigners who work in Africa-Americans and Europeans know non-infectious diseases better than we do. 2. Because of the HIV/ Ebola/TB experiences, we have one of the best case tracing systems in the world. Tracking down people others have infected is an art and we have it down pat. Community health workers do an amazing job of this. 3. We can easily do mass testing for both the virus and testing for immunity by using our existing network of VCT testing centers. All we need are accurate testing kits. 4. We have some of the best community messaging methods in the world. We are more communal so messages penetrate faster than they would in other places in the world. I am keeping an eye on Uganda. They are likely to come out of this looking as good as South Korea even though testing is not currently a big part of their approach. They are simply using the infrastructure they built with HIV to control corona virus. They also have a better food distribution system to support their lockdown. I cannot say the same about us… Bill Gates and wife should concentrate on Europe and the US where people are dying like flies due to corona. Not Africa. These are the guys you have been loving so much. Your darlings all these years, when they fake an invasion to Middle East you celebrated. Now they came up with something man-made, this is touching you, now you feel it. Uncle Sam! The issues are too serious for such parochial outbursts and the usual nutty conspiracy theories. Just as absolute power corrupts leaders, so does absolute fanaticism blind the people from logic

When this pandemic comes to an end, Trump should be charged with causing needless deaths of thousands of Americans due to incompetence and arrogance.

It does not know what you call it... heck it does not even know its called a VIRUS! it's incapable of knowing... the only thing that people should be engaged in right now is focusing on what actually stops it. that is not in the realm of politics. The virus does not know the age, the race, the gender of its next victim... it finds a viable cell receptor where it can stick that Spike protein on its surface then if successful - it uses that cell to replicate and it's offspring do exactly what their parent did - look for other cells to do the same to. Let's focus on the basics!! All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

Even George Bush was Presidential He talks about the things that would be required... it's not what Trump can do... Do you know what moved George Bush to be like this? He READ ABOUT.. IN A BOOK. Trump doesn't read... Reading requires you to desire knowledge... it needs you to appreciate the fact that you don't know it all. In his head - Trump is a stable genius, he has the best words, his uncle was at MIT. He is the worst person to lead such a country as the US during such a difficult period. All Mushrooms are edible! Uganda will most likely do well, I agree. But not so much coz of HIV experience but Ebola experience. Ebola & Corona mode of spreading have some similarities. Uganda have had to deal with DRC's Ebola outbreaks as they share a long border

Trump has done a good job dealing with the virus. What do people want? Trump was condemned and called racist when he banned flights from china. The europeans complained when he banned flights from europe. He was condemned when he proposed that doctors use antimalarial drugs to deal with corona (NB china, japan, britain are using the same drugs to manage the virus). He was accused of piracy when he took masks that a US company was secretly exporting to germany and canada instead of supplying to the US. He was condemned when he proposed that every american be given $1,200 to help them while on quarantine. They are now accusing him of trying to rush to reopen the economy. Trump has a coronavirus task force that includes top disease experts among them Dr Fauci, who has confirmed publicly that Trump follows their advice.
