UK went on lock down without testing kits and now it's a whole fiasco out there. They don't know whether what they have is a lockdown or what. They are trying to feed their hungry, but with 1m people claiming joblessness, I don't know how they can hold.
Their lockdown is likely to disintegrate sooner rather than later.
Meanwhile many countries have moved to 3 figures and I see Kenya, in its athletic fashion is fast catching up.
I hope to remain alive and see off these incompetent governments. Let me go and work.

They want to do tests on Doctors and Nurses in Australia to see if this is indeed the case. All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

I weep for Kirinyaga. When Members of the County Assembly cite deficiency in health delivery as a credible reason to impeach Her Excellency, then Houston, we have a problem. Quote:Why Kirinyaga Ward Reps Want To Kick Waiguru Out
By Joseph Muchiri 02nd Apr 2020
Waiguru was also accused of violation of the right to health of the people of Kirinyaga County where through omission or commission, she "caused the health sector to run into disarray and into a deplorable state that has compromised and undermined the realisation of the right to the highest attainable health standard of the people of Kirinyaga".
In her rebuttal, Waiguru said all the public health facilities are fully staffed and working very well.
“With all our challenges, these facilities have never been better.
Our only concern is the coronavirus, which may compromise even our best efforts.
Yet we are being asked to leave the health effort and concentrate on dealing with petty issues,” she said. Source: https://www.standardmedi...want-to-kick-waiguru-out

Listening to Kagwe yesterday, we are not going into lockdown. At least not soon. He sounded pessimistic about such measures. But this stuff is scary when you consider those numbers from Italy, Spain, USA ALso considering a lot of people could be asymptomatic carriers. Or will have mild symptoms like that Brenda lady(Giving her story the benefit of doubt). Spreading it all over!

Spreading it all over! how is lockdown a cure in a system where people live from hand to mouth? 21 of the 22 the new cases are from mandatory quarantine (a measure) not the general public walking around in the larger public? Quote:To state the obvious, it is harder to impose a lockdown in a poor country than in a rich one.
In huge cities such as Lagos, Mumbai or Manila, instructing people to stay at home is to confine millions to cramped housing.
In the slums where up to half the population may live, people could be crammed six or eight to a room, with no easy access to water, or even soap.
Arundhati Roy, the Indian author and political activist, has called the lockdown not an act of social distancing but rather one of “social compression”.

They not only under-reported on the deaths but also on the numbers of those infected. Moreover, they allowed their infected citizens to fly out of their country to go and infect people in other countries.

The overzealous cops would be acting on fake news from the githeri media. Very wrong to misquote MK when he even emphasized on the "ADVICE". He even farther stated that the GoK would issue enough masks for the first two days.

China is not out of the woods yet as cases reemerge A county in central China has been put under lockdown again after a flare-up in coronavirus cases, pointing to the difficulty of sustaining outbreak containment in the face of carriers who show no signs of sickness. The move came after residents were unnerved by an incident in which a woman was infected after she visited a doctor who carried the virus but showed no signs of being sick. Researchers are finding that these stealthy carriers can play an outsized role in spreading the pathogen to others, since there’s no easy way to tell they’re infected. COVID 19 will turn the world upside down if the above scenario is replicated in other countries

There's a reason why Health Ministry is projecting 10,000 cases by end of April. Me thinks Kenya will follow UG & SA in lockdown but it will be late. As it is now, the people you say are living from hand to mouth are already suffering. Tao is mostly empty, eateries and many other businesses closed. Guys are already getting broke, penniless. Some intervention for urban lower classes areas will need to be made for food. Watching TZ though. Just 20 cases.

Considering that 44 out of the 51 have been people in mandatory quarantine. I think they are done with these people - let's see what's out in the population. "We'll see" says the master All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!
