The CS warned that that's likely. But I also heard a team of professionals who understand the problem at hand and would take the decisions that are necessary to keep as many of us safe as possible.

One more thing I heard.

Maybe it's time we issued a travel advisory to the UK.

They are obviously fudging their numbers. And their PM is one level lower than his friend in the US.

PRESS RELEASE BY THE ARCHBISHOP OF THE ANGLICAN CHURCH

In regard to the Church’s Ministry:
i. We have put in place mechanisms to mitigate the impact of the prevailing situation on matters regarding worship and other essential services that are provided by the Church such as Sunday Worship, burials and weddings. Others include:
-A suspension of Physical Church Services for the next Thirty Days. This is in line with a Government directive regarding the same. Christians should worship in their homes as families using the Morning Prayer Book. This, however, should not attract large groups.

One of the most exasperating things about our society is hiding behind religion when faced with challenges that arise out of our own inadequacies.

The evidence of an oncoming public healthcare problem has been clearly written on the walls, you allow airlines to continue operating from pandemic epicenters and now we want to call people to pray ??? Applause

Proud of this church with the new moderator. That was bold. Could ne the first time in the church's history.

I am also suspecting it was instigated by the state. Hence the national day of prayer to calm the flock.

Wukan has good company.Prophets of Doom!

If her means of transport has been public means, why are we expecting her to change and to what? She did the eight thing to go back to hospital.

Let us all be EXTREMISTS is prevention and spreading hope.

I await to hear her outcome.

Social distancing is very foreign to Kenyans. Even during the press conferences, why are so many people standing behind there yet they will end up saying nothing?

Instead of prayer only I would have expected Uhuru to call us for city clean up ..the cbd is smelly and littered. Then after that we pray

I was shocked to learn that the KNH isolation unit has no running water. Why can't we work on the simple things?

Statement on letterhead from Ole Sapit excludes that part for suspending services

Religion played a key role in the spread of the virus in south korea .
Banning all mass gathering is a move in the right direction it means less people are infected minimizing the spread .The next logical thing would be a lockdown waiting to see how it will work in a third world country
