I am the average NSE guy and I am sleeping easy.

If cyton goes down, thats it, kapish, kwisha maneno, no hope for poor investor.

With NSE, just wait out the corona, locusts, rutos and kenyattas. Sooner or later, the light will shine.

Thats the major difference

A gentleman called @IgnatiusWasike1 on Twitter had tweeted asking Cytonn why he was having trouble accessing his investment. They replied and now his account on Twitter does not exist.

I have invested in the NSE (since 2005) and in Cytonn Project Notes since 2018.
I can say NSE will give me a dry clean shave this year. On Cytonn, I get my interest as scheduled and I have never had late payments.. A straight2Bank alert from Standard Chartered bank arrives on my email before I get an alert from my bank. To answer your question, the Cytonn investor is sleeping well this week. The problem has always been those people who attack Cytonn are not Cytonn investors so I treat it as background noise.

I have invested with Cytonn since 2017 and I always get my money.

I just withdrew a tidy sum from the HighYield Solutions to pay for buroti but will surely top it up soon.

Cytonn has advertised for a legal manager to report directly to the CEO. What happened to the current head of legal who also was one of the four who began the firm, does she not report legal matters directly to CEO? Just curious as their turnover is high but not this role

It seems other Kenyan money market funds are still accruing interest for their clients and offers a good place to hide your money from tanking stocks at least for now.

If Covid-19 persists, money market funds in Kenya will come under pressure also like they did in the US where there was a panic of redemptions also putting pressure on commercial paper market that money market funds buy.The Fed was forced to inject trillions into both money market and commercial paper market to bandage the hemorrhage but some bleeding still persists.

Wondering if Kenyan money market funds will also face a crisis of clients redeeming their money and what will CBK and GoK do about it?
