Turnover +15.8% to Sh352.9m

HY19 v. HY20:

Gross profit margin 53% v. 51%

Operating profit margin 40% v. 39%

Net profit (PBT) margin 50% v. 66%

EPS Sh0.41 v. Sh0.70 (+70%)

Finance income rose +16%, mirroring revenue growth

PBT soared +51% to Sh233m.

Ready cash convertible investments came in at Sh1.6b from Sh1.3b in HY19 (+31%). Per share this is Sh6.5!

Current ratio also increased further to 6.18 from 5.46 in HY19.

Total debt stood at Sh358m, which is about half the money they have in just SHORT TERM DEPOSITS & about equal to HALF YEAR REVENUE.

Cash & cash equivalents at the end of the period increased by 37% to Sh644m, due to lower investment activities.

No interim dividends.Based on this HY results,be sure of the normal kshs 0.70 after full year results.

Seems like you have opted to completely ignore the fact that they have bucked the decreasing revenue trend in the last two halves.

Does anyone know the particulars of Carbacid's equity investments? As in the companies that they hold stock in.
