hi wazuans, I am curious to know what kind of prices bars and similar establishments buy their beers and liquors at from the distributors. What kind of gross margins are they(bars et al) doing? how good is the bar business? asanteni

I think about 140 KES for a bottle of Tusker.
Bars sell at whatever they like, depending on their clients.
In good bars at the coast that could be between 250 to 350 KES.
Bar business can be good if you know what your are doing.
You have to be there FULL time or put in robust systems to ensure that you are not cheated.
