@Ebenyo - As a long-term investor without a specific date to exit do not focus on price movements in the short-term [of course, if the price gets crazy then cash in]...

Long-term profit generation is more important.

TPS at 15 bob! A case of being darkest before dawn or does the market know something?

Been wondering the same. I think in absence of violence, a weaker shilling will favour this counter and I believe we are headed to 110 to the dollar

Nairobi Serena operating full capacity from H2 2019. Surely the market should be more considerate.

Then you should buy what you can at these prices! The current market is very tempting but I have no cash!

Luckily, this is not "Core" for me. Biashara in KE is an extreme sport. Some industries/sectors have it tougher than others.

CoronaVirus is going to devastate the tourism industry no matter how good the management.

The expansion programme using debt is going to bite TPSEA.

I am not selling nor am I buying. I am picking up some "core" dividend paying shares at lower prices.

10% of my portfolio at abp Kshs 28.5. I will buy more if it goes below 10 bob.

I will hold. It has great assets but cash-flow will be problematic in 2020 with the CV, debt repayments (Nairobi Serena) and airline/flight cancellations.

So when is KQ telling us how large its loss was?
KQ should partner with TPS and offer deals to fill seats and beds!

Good move. It reduces conflict with guests and builds goodwill.
TPS/Serena is likely to make it though 2020 bruised but alive. I wonder how many hotels will manage to pull through 2020.

TPSEA is likely to report a poor 2019 and an awful 1H20.

Is tourism business the new agriculture businesses wild swings and challenges. Actually more like the airline business. At this rate the share us getting a beating before fully recovering from the ebola beating a few years ago.

Like you I'm eyeing the blue chips that were too mighty to fall, safcom, equity etc.
