This Gyan guy is good but not great. Did you realise that the best player in this Ghanaian side appeared to be Kevin-Prince Boateng? This is one guy we didn't notice at all while playing in the EPL for..................... .....................................................Lowly Portsmouth!! What does that say about this Team Ghana generally?

Boateng missed a penalty for Portsmouth in the FA Cup final. He is not that good

For all of you hell-bent on dissing Gyan, you should realise that he is the one who got them in the quarters in the first place. He should be given a heroes welcome.
Luis Suarez is a hero now back at home. We will be seeing at a major club soon (not because of his goalkeeping exploits)

suarez is a hero for earning the uruguayian FA a cool 14 million US$. that's what ever team that makes it to semi's will pocket from FIFA. meanwhile samosa ensured Ghana FA gets only 9M$, for making it to quarters. the winner will go with a cool 30M$. to qualify for WC gurantees a payout of 1M. so suarez earned a coool 5M$ by handling that ball. not bad ehhh

@kadonye,

I think Germany is the team to beat notwithstanding Muller's yellow card which means he misses out in the semi finals. Teamwork ya ajabu..Maradona is crying a river..hand of god!

Seems like Maradonna's kisses didn't amount to anything.
Did you see him before the game? You could hear every kiss "Smooch" "Smooch"

It's called arrogance. Notice that one of most important traits for successful people especially in the business world is "humility". Now the loss to Germany has completely humbled him.

But he is Diego. He shall rise from the ashes like the phoenix to see another day..another world cup.

Notice that Klose is ONLY ONE GOAL behind Ronaldo's record tally of 15 goals in World Cup History. Phenomenal

Uruguay's Luis Suarez said "the 'Hand Of God' now belongs to me" after his goal-line handball helped his country reach the World Cup semi-finals.

The striker punched Adiyah's goal-bound header to deny Ghana what would have proved to be the extra-time winner.

Asamoah Gyan missed the ensuing penalty and Uruguay went on to win a shoot-out.

And referencing Diego Maradona's goal against England in 1986, Suarez said: "Mine is the real 'Hand Of God'. I made the save of the tournament."
GOD BLESS YOUR LIFE

For me the important statistic will always remain...............MESSI ENDS WC2010 WITHOUT SCORING A SINGLE GOAL.

@storyteller..............That Forlan goal is one of the goals of the tournament.

@mwenza ,that hook was unbelievable!Reminds me of Diego in his prime.

Spain vs Paraguay i have no prediction..i haven't seen Spain play this entire world cup (work) but everyone seems to think they hold the upper hand. On the other hand, i have seen Paraguay play and they are definitely not a walkover team.

This Spain vs Uruguay game is nuts !! Uruguay gets a penalty, keeper saves the game; Spain gets a penalty immediately after and also gets saved by the keeper. Wolololo !
