Guess what? Though i had advised people in this forum against investing their emotions in an African team, the truth is the manner in which Ghana went out left a very bitter taste in the mouths of the entire continent.............I felt the way I always feel when Man-U have lost an important match.

But surely, did Ghana practice on how to take spot kicks before the match? Ghana progressed farthest among the African reps yet they disappointed the most. And their captain, John Mensah, is a candidate for lynching.BK!!!

The ref followed the rules to the letter and FIFA are not to blame in this particular case. Suarez did what a man got to do under the circumstances and his gamble paid off spectacularly. And of coz the ref did not ask Gyan a.k.a samosa to take that penalty in a hurry.

Finally, I still feel as if the Mighty Man-U lost a Champions League Quarter Final match last night.

This Gyan guy is good but not great. Did you realise that the best player in this Ghanaian side appeared to be Kevin-Prince Boateng? This is one guy we didn't notice at all while playing in the EPL for..................... .....................................................Lowly Portsmouth!!
