Time to exit Longhorn at 7.14. Reason: Lackluster H2 performance resulting in flat FY earnings despite an 88% jump in HY results. Apparently, G.O.K cut down on textbook spending. Buying price Ksh 4.65. Gross profit about 53% in 8 months. I must admit that I was did not get the financial results early enough for a timely exit. However, better late than never. At double digit PE and flat earnings, the juice is no longer worth the squeeze.

KCB is still trading at 40. I will hold on for a while and I plan to re-deploy earnings from longhorn to another prospect. Now that we all get the general idea of how the market works, I believe I have done my part and may be unable to post my future trades. Happy Hunting.
@mugundaman has Longhorn at 30 cents. Yes, not the EPS at 30 cents but the PRICE at KES 0.30 by Dec 2019. Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

You are behind times my braddah. I cashed out my ENTIRE gambles in the casino kitaaaaambo. And in any case my entire nse holdings were a negligible component of my net assets. Get out of the casino and invest in DC before nse shaves you PROPER into the poor house my braddahs! You will be waiting for a rebound like Godot, 10 years down the line you will still be waiting. Corruption scams have really put majority of Kenyans off trust in the nse. Foreigners too.

My fren, sadly in Kenya, there is no escape from the wicked. I have a friend whose is fighting to get "fake" titles/allocation, on his properties, nullified.
Then we have those properties bought in good faith but may be on riparian land.
Or despite due diligence are on road reserves or government land due to fake titles or other shenanigans.

That said, I am in real estate through proxy just not in DC. Centum. Kenya Re.

To each his own. I want to stay in and increase my stake in firms with good management. Not all will pan out but the weakness of one may be adequately covered by another.

I wish you the best.

VVS,
To each their own. Let us compare notes in 5 years, then in 10 years time. Meanwhile DC capgains romp along at rapid clip. The peace of mind is amazing. We pray you will join us by investing directly. All the best.

I have been silently mopping-up huge chunks of @obiero's and @pesa nane "Diamond in the trash" at ABP of 4.2. I have looked at the financier and thought there is no way it can be valued at Kshs. 1,673,071,630.8(384614168 shares × 4.35 bob).

They have been paying their bondholders on time. Their property portfolio alone is over 1.6 billion shillings. They have increased customer base to 500,000 customers thanks to HFWhizz which was voted the best in some award etc

Wake me up in 2021.
