I don't know about the curse but it could be so. I've heard of gangs that stole artifacts, millions and art in Europe and South America never to be traced.
I just think that the G4S heist thugs and the rest in Kenya are not professional thieves but desperate people who over years of ferrying or guarding millions of Shillings while taking home peanuts decide to plan over time and eventually take a dare, but they are not thugs. They are normal people struggling to pay school fees and rent and can't even take the wife out on a date yet currencies in millions is entrusted to them each day.
I remember Omondi used half of his loot to bribe his way with small amounts from JKIA to the border and beyond which tells you that the cops were way ahead of the guy's plan.

Brighter people need to do these heists.... 😊

Between 2014-2016, a ring of Russian computer hackers stole an estimated £650 million from banks all over the world.

Using malware and phishing to hack banks’ systems, they studied the operations and routines of the banks, even watching through webcams and CCTV systems, then transferred money through fake accounts. They even programmed ATMs to dispense cash at specific times.

Never taking more than £80 million from a single target, the gang robbed as many as 100 banks in 30 countries and remain at large to this day.

It fashionable today to attribute evil on Russians. Look at the current H0lly Hood movies. In the 90s, the bad guys were Arab decent, but lately in 20s, the evil guy is Russian. And the guy doing shenzi roles is African. Is it by accident? Of course not. It is strategically planned. So now we see oh computer hacker Russian, oh computer this Russian... And kina @washiku and @maka just swallow the brainwashing!
