Hi

is anyone aware of any investments that compound interest in Kenya?

Money Market Unit Trust Funds....and most have higher rates that the over-glorified T-Bills

Entry, Exit, Management fees? Tax?

Management fees are minimal: 2% pa .. and it is collected monthly (0.17%), up-front. So, the earnings you see in your statement are NET of fees.

Withholding tax is 15% of earnings. Also collected upfront [just like in the case of FXD & T-Bills]. Thus what you see in your monthly statement is the net - yote ni pesa yako!

The well-managed funds are earning around 9% monthly after tax and fees. Compounded is about 9.4%

The only thing better is M-Akiba.....if only CBK can do better publicity!

What? 9 % per month? So the annualised return is 108%

My bad: I meant to write 9% pa every month..... when you compound 9%pa on monthly basis for one year, you get 9.4% in a year.

Sorry for the confusion.

T bonds not Bills (kwanza infrastructure bonds) & reinvesting the proceeds are still ahead.

The only way to grow wealth is to find compounding machines. However, you need to understand the power of compounding so as to maximise the benefits. My goal is to show you the best compounding machines in Kenya.

Further, I will share tools and templates to help with the investment decisions.
