This is not in doubt but what is India researching? Is this not a joyride just to show the world India has arrived while on the ground, it cannot feed and house it's people? Hmmmm! Can't wait Burundi to launch!
People need to learn to feed themselves, that should not be the responsibility of govt. When Americans landed on the moon in the 60s there were people sleeping on the streets and the civil rights movement was going on. That didn't stop NASA. Let Indians be, Chinese did it at the beginning of the year, Trump wants to go back, Japan is working with Toyota to create a moon rover. Great discoveries happen while just projects are taking place. It should not come as a surprise if these nations lead in the technological field in the next few decades.
