Even Athi River Mining rallied. Don't be caught swimming naked.

Except ARM Cement had no buyer...KQ has a buyer... the Kenyan government has recognised KQ as too big too fail thus the anticipated mouthwatering offer which will turn brave investors into instant millionaires...

To quote Buffet "Greedy when others are fearful. Very fearful when others are greedy "

Pumping can have many manifestation.
ARM had many buyers, sold to Devki. KQ has only one disinterested buyer.

KES 26.3B not KES 11.4B.. KQLC, KLM and KQ minority shareholders will not sink in to the forced purchase at a 'throw away' price

Applause Applause Applause Don't sell. Tell GoK that KQ doesn't need taxpayer assistance. Tell GoK that KQ will happily pay off all its loans without any help from taxpayers! Applause Applause Applause

Are you on drugs? GoK holds almost half of KQ so of course we need it's assistance. I am in this instance talking about the fair price

You should buy out GoK at a fair price. And KQLC. Then soar to the skies.

I do sympathize with investors who buy into KQ in the belief that GOK will buy them out at KShs 8.52 for the following reasons:

1. Buy out is a mere recommendation by parliament after they rejected PIIP. Nothing concrete.

2. No timelines given for the proposal. It might turn out an infinitum wait like Christians' wait for second coming of Christ.

3. No assurance that buy out will be at Kshs 8.52 for minority shareholders. KQLC did a conditional conversion on agreed terms. Not so with minority shareholders.

4. Too big to fail is a fallacy.
Life is short. Live passionately.
