Police believe Irungu confided to Maribe what had happened the previous night.
This is the reason they decided to arrest her.
Maribe told police she never knew Monica. She said she even read the news of the death and discovery of Monica’s body on the night it happened.

Am wondering if Maribe was not with Jowie did she give him her phone to walk around with it? Itumbi must have dropped baby Mama in 2018 right about the time Maribe became 'available' with arrest of Jowi according to below story: < Link> “He ended the relationship in August 2018 when the lady informed him that she was pregnant with his child. She successfully delivered a baby girl on June 14, this year,” lawyer Dulo said. One year is a long time. Itumbi got a girl pregnant, Monica Kimani + Jowi + Maribe happened, baby born and now He is in court for child support.
