There are no preference shares in KQ.. All shareholders rank pari passu, bar for the minority shareholders who anticipate a rights issue to restore equilibrium.. The only reason KQ is trading at current lows is the delayed Open Offer. Look at the volume run since Oct 2017.. Less than 0.01% of all issued shares have traded. Fair value remains KES 12. That's why there was a rally to KES 18.5 upon resumption of trading.. Failure to break KES 22, led to entrapment.. Immediately the KES 1.5B rights issue is announced you shall find out the value of the share COOP 70,000 ABP 15.20; HF 90,000 ABP 3.83; KQ 414,100 ABP 7.92; MTN 23,800 ABP 6.45

KQs value is zero point something. It has negative equity. Been consistently making losses for 7 years in a row now going to 8th. Its on life supporting machines aka GOK support. Open Offer aka rights issue is dead, doing it will complicate nationalisation and delisting process Wealth is built through a relatively simple equation Wealth=Income + Investments - Lifestyle

Now we await the buy out but only after the rights issue AKA Open Offer.. I will personally take GoK to court if they attempt a squeeze out Please do. We are behind you with our moral support. Let me mark this post. Here is your interview @vvs AKA Aly Khan Satchu Pkosing is winning me over. I think this model will work best for KQ at this moment. If we are going to look at it as a national asset then this makes some sense. GoK better be ruthless when buying out the existing shareholders, this is not a birthday party. They will be extra cautios because one of the two men holds stakes in two tier I banks under KQLC and the other banks involved are all tier I hence need to keep working operational links positive I agree that KQLC should be paid off in full.
