Na watu wa Home Afrika?

HAFR will never rise above KES 1

Which means HAFR is higher risk than KQ, right?

Not necessarily...depends on alot of variables.

On KQ.. A revival plan has been drawn out backed by GoK cabinet paper.. Jubilee is the majority party. Handshake is in effect. A sale will be done at a price not less than KES 8.52.. That's a guarantee

I met one relationship ship manager of SBG yesterday and he said KQ minority shareholders will be worst hit if government buys out.. They might end up receiving between shs 1-1.50..

That is very true.
It will be done in two phases.First phase is minority shareholders at price below 8.52.

SBG is an authority? Lol.. Kuweni serious.. There are no preference shares in KQ.. All shareholders rank pari passu, bar for the minority shareholders who anticipate a rights issue to restore equilibrium.. The only reason KQ is trading at current lows is the delayed Open Offer. Look at the volume run since Oct 2017.. Less than 0.01% of all issued shares have traded. Fair value remains KES 12. That's why there was a rally to KES 18.5 upon resumption of trading.. Failure to break KES 22, led to entrapment.. Immediately the KES 1.5B rights issue is announced you shall find out the value of the share

KQs value is zero point something.
It has negative equity.
Been consistently making losses for 7 years in a row now going to 8th.
Its on life supporting machines aka GOK support.
Open Offer aka rights issue is dead, doing it will complicate nationalisation and delisting process

Here is your interview @vvs AKA Aly Khan Satchu

Pkosing is winning me over. I think this model will work best for KQ at this moment. If we are going to look at it as a national asset then this makes some sense. GoK better be ruthless when buying out the existing shareholders, this is not a birthday party.

They will be extra cautios because one of the two men holds stakes in two tier I banks under KQLC and the other banks involved are all tier I hence need to keep working operational links positive

I agree that KQLC should be paid off in full.

If @Obiero losses 1 bob on KQ, that is 25% of his investment. If I lose 67 cts on HAFR, that is 100% of my investment. Clearly HAFR is a riskier investment.

It is easier for Obiero to lose 100% of his KQ holdings coz no one gives a shiet about minority shareholders in KQ...unlike HAFR whose minority got some voice.
