To the Iron Mining prospects of Tharaka? And coal in Mwingi?

To the natural gas discovered in Wajir

Lotikipi basin aquifer?

What about to Wrectangular's gold saga?

Just wondering what happens to some of these headline news.

They all suffered the 2 week hype effect. Anything more than 2 weeks in Kenya becomes distant, irrelvant, forgotten, old news...
If you dont believe... do you recall the famous Kirinyaga Deputy busted moments. Guys thought that was his end yet today he attends to his life as if another feather was added to his cap. 2 weeks staypower is all you need to survive.

Media houses drive the narrative. The stories end once they cease to suit their purpose.

The tragedy called Kenya, when Dakote came with cheap cement narrative for him to be given mining blocks he was asked to give 30% of initial investments to briefcase carriers who in turn will just be there milking his sweat. He said yes and left

Lappset. As soon as the plans were made, greedy Kenyans went and bought Burotis on the whole proposed railway, pipeline network from Lamu to Ethiopia and South Sudan so as to gain from Government compensation.

More than 18 years after Eric Wainaina told us we are a small minded country, we have not changed one bit. For most of Kenyans the ultimate achievement is to be a landlord.

And What's wrong with this? Profiting from government and corruption and abuse of office are not the same thing. People should not be ashamed to make money... THAT'S HOW THIS COUNTRY WILL DEVELOP!!
