Ndani! Though Centum is a long-term holding. The weak real estate market must hurt.

This report came out at the right time... http://ieefa.org/ieefa-r...conomic-growth-in-kenya/

These reports strangely never mention the running costs and environmental impact of the diesel/thermal power plants operating in Kenya.

Heavily exposed on this counter. Tomorrow we know whether we'll sink or swim.

Download the full report. Everything is there, or how did you want them to assess enviromental impact?

Diesel is only mentioned in passing.

Diesel is mentioned 2x in the entire report.
Thermal is mentioned 3x in the entire report.

Tomorrow, I shall try to pick up a few more Centum. Centum is NOT perfect. There are some poor investments but that happens in any business. Bad publicity is good for investors who want to increase their stake in fundamentally good firms.

I also think that some companies should not be valued simply by posted results, but sometimes it requires to have a second look on overall business and actual balance sheet values which might be hidden and not posted through results

Electricity from a coal-fired power plant due to be built in Kenya by a Kenyan-Chinese consortium will cost consumers up to 10 times more than planned, a U.S. thinktank says, raising further doubts about the long-delayed project.
There are only two emotions in the stock market, fear and hope. The problem is, you hope when you should fear and fear when you should hope
