Unless people are opening different reports, this one is based on revenues. And KQ are second in Kenya after Safaricom.

The only true problem that KQ had apart from cartels was the high financial costs which were tackled hard by the restructuring..

High financial costs was related to interest payments on loans

This is all rich countries of African continent, for sure it's good to have, but there are lof of smaller and really poor countries. Of course there is good life in Morrocco, South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, even Egypt and so on. Good to see some progress on that list anyway.

I would think the market cap would reflect more accurately the value of companies across of industries.

Some industries with huge revenues have very low margins and vice versa
