The directors cannot be trusted with this move. This will lead to massive underhand tactics.

Investments in sugar companies might be good buy only for a short period of time. This is due to very volatile market price which originate from worlds demand on sugar as a product. So, these companies sometimes can outperform and sometimes might have not so good performance

Any plans of milling have been shelved and the few remaining staff from milling and sugar production have been asked to take indefinite leave. Looks like the six months I gave HaMaina will be surpassed by a couple of years... lol.

Let the 6 months get finished, then I'll believe you, right now on buying with anything I can get, even unused pub funds.

According to the latest mumias sugar results for six months ended 31st December 2018,total liabilities is kshs 31,353,455,000
Assets were kshs 15,433,845,000

This makes the shareholders to be in negative 15,919,610,000
This means all those who have shares in mumias are holding nothing as the company is worthless.
The remedy is for a strategic investor to clear all the liabilities for equity a location.
KQ is also still in negative equity position of kshs 2,493,000,000
After all those debt to equity converstion!

The idea is intended to generate more revenue. So the issue here is if the management can be trusted of which Oparanya thinks no.

No lets see how low it can go, I don't see any good news anytime soon that can lift it above 0.50, can it really go below 0.10, or 0.05?
