Wivu will kill you my broda Hebu post the platform the County where your village is uses for comparison purposes http://www.homabay.go.ke...ize-revenue-collection/
Kitambo sana!!! You mean this same Homabay? https://www.the-star.co....-is-below-par-mcas-say/
Quote:The Homa Bay government may not be able to effectively
implement its budget this year due to lack of revenue, the assembly has said.
A report tabled by the Assembly Committee on Finance and Economic Planning on Thursday indicates the county performs poorly in revenue collection. The MCAs say the revenue collection is at 0.3 per cent.
This is 1.7 per cent less than the 2 per cent threshold required by the Commission on Revenue Allocation. Poorest counties - Homabay tops! https://victormatara.com...counties-in-kenya-2018/
No wonder you believe having good world class neighbourhoods - something that is coming to DC - is "impossible"

But never the FACTS Yes, I agree with ya..kila gitu Fresssss kabisa including the poorest of the poor county in Kenya's abject poverty I just noted the things i pointed out. Anyway regardless, the so called abject poverty, the poorest of the poorest tumezoea my fren. We have heard that since Moi days and we are still soldiering on. You never hear of sirkal saidia manenos. Mtu ni kujipanga kwao. Of course one of the game changers is the Lake Victoria trunk road being done at the moment - things are happening despite challenges in the county governance. And i am enjoying what i am doing now (in the abject poverty area ) not waiting for things to happen in DC in some 50 years (in the rich neighborhood). fis fres, omena fres, alot fres, tong fres, chak fres & no fear of government regulations, dust fres etc In the business world, everyone is paid in two coins - cash and experience. Now we can put your wivu about DC in proper context Don't worry we wish you well and you will develop too...but not with wivu, just hard work and good governance DC style! And if all else fails come join us in DC where things are actually working Ploti ni mingi and the face of Kenya is here and we are very welcoming!

I am sure the many of the 'rich' of DC cannot enjoy the life that the 'poor' in HB live. Tumejipanga kabisaa. That i know hurts but what is. Provided you live within your means and enjoy the same, you are good to go. In poverty, life is sweet and with the openning space, things are getting better every day. Thousands of kenyans register to live in the inner-city as one lonely bushman lives in the delusion of the dustbowl. Quote:The number of Kenyans who have registered for state funded affordable homes has crossed the 100,000 mark, according to Housing and Urban Development principal secretary. In a statement, Charles Hinga said the good response through the Affordable Housing platform is a testament to the massive interest and potential that the program has. He said in the past few weeks, increased traffic on the Boma Yangu platform and the Huduma Centres show that Kenyans are keen on owning homes. “ As Government, we are working towards ensuring the construction, completion and handover of these houses is expedited so we can give our people a sense of ownership, promote social equity and improve access to our urban cities,” said Hinga. He said the contractor for the Park Road, 1,370 unit flagship project, is already on site. https://www.the-star.co....ations-hit-100000-mark/
