Vague statement.
Say, you met cash position. Is it out of increased debt or sale of assets, since its not from improved profitability. Probably, the management is idle sitting cash that's not generating any benefits for the investors and that's is evident from lack of growth in all the company's bottom lines.
The management has run out of ideas, so I may say.

Boss don't oppose before knowing the reason.
Remember kenya power said they paid kengen their debt. That is cash
Improved cash flow doesn't necessary mean growth in profit.

Kenya power repaid the debt it owed kengen.

"Kenya Power has cleared 85 per cent of all debt it owes the Kenya Electricity Generating (KenGen) Company.

According to KenGen, Kenya Power cleared the arrears which amounts to Ksh.18.57 billion, between July and October 2018.

“We are glad to report that, though trade receivables from Kenya Power stood at Sh21.88 billion as at 30 June 2018, at the time of releasing the results (post balance sheet), Sh18.57 billion had been received,” KenGen Managing Director Rebecca Miano said in at a briefing on Friday."

They have 30% of phase 2 of the project. Looking at 690M

Whichever year that phase will be. Too much noise for so little income!

The Treasury also expects to earn Sh1 billion from electricity producer, KenGen where it controls a 70 per cent stake, unchanged from the current year.

Dividend income from Kenya Power is forecast at Sh500 million, 66.67 per cent more than Sh300 million this year ending June.

A dividend from KPLC this year with all the drama? That would be interesting.
Did KPLC declare a dividend last year?
